Our Story
AFVET Solutions was founded in 2007 on the principles of service, quality, and integrity. We were founded by C-17 pilots who served on the front lines of the Global War on Terror and wanted to continue their service after being medically retired from the Air Force. Our operational experience and extensive contracting expertise brings a fresh perspective to the support we provide to our customers.
Founder Kevin Suckman served in the Air Force for eight years as a C-17 pilot supporting worldwide missions before being medically retired. During his short but eventful career, he accumulated more than 2,500 flying hours in the C-17, including over 500 combat hours and 150 combat missions. His experience includes special operations, logistics, transportation, ISR, and communications profiles flown in support of AFSOC, Air Mobility Command, SOCOM, TRANSCOM, and other DoD and federal agency customers. With 20+ years of operational and program management experience, Kevin is responsible for executing the strategic planning and growth of the company.
